The Welcome Party

DRESS CODE : COCKTAIL/DRESSY CASUAL ATTIRE

We would love for all of our guests to stop by for drinks & appetizers the night before the wedding.

We appreciate everyone traveling to celebrate and want to keep the Welcome Party cocktail/dressy casual for ease. Please feel free to wear any length dress, suit, or a dress shirt with dress pants.

The Welcome Party will be indoors.

The Wedding

DRESS CODE : GARDEN FORMAL

We would love for you to get dressed up with us! We kindly ask our guests to dress "Garden Formal". What does that mean?

We ask that guests are in longer dresses or suits of some kind (jacket & tie). Colors and patterns are encouraged as our wedding will be in the Spring.

Since the ceremony and reception will be held for the majority on a grass surface, please choose your shoes accordingly.

Please note that this is supposed to be fun and do not want any of our guests stressed over what to wear. If you already have a formal dress you love, wear it!

For our guests who would like to participate, please see some inspiration to the right.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony and reception will be outdoors, the reception will be held under a tent. The ground floor of the estate will be accessible to guests.

What is the parking situation?

The Meshewa House has a parking lot in front of the estate for you to park. We will also have transportation services from the hotel if you prefer.

Can I bring a plus one?

While we would love to celebrate with everyone, we have limited capacity. Therefore, we can only accommodate guests specifically addressed when formal invitations are sent out.

Are children invited?

We hope you use this as a night out to celebrate with us! With this being an adult only event, please do not expect to bring your beloved little one unless specified on your invitation.

Where is The Meshewa House located?

The Meshewa House is a historic estate on 230 acres of scenic farmland just outside of Cincinnati in the Village of Indian Hill. We instantly fell in love with the home's history and would love to share with you!
